Spring Card using Ippity Stamps

Here is a Spring card I made this morning using the ippity stamp kit Sweet Thoughts of Spring!!
This card is for 4 challenges... I based this card off of Kazan's Sketch #49 at 2 Sketches 4 You, the ippity challenge this week is to create a Spring based project using ippity stamps, and the challenge at Cuttlebug Challenge blog is to also create a Spring project incorporating the cuttlebug, and an Easter card for the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge.

Here's what I did:
The sentiment, flowers and basket were all stamped with the ippity stamp kit Sweet Thoughts of Spring. I created my own DP using the flower stamp for the background of this card.  I used watercolor pencils to color the basket and the flowers.  The pink paper was dry embossed using my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder.  The circle was cut out with my Cricut George cart and the edges of the circle and card were both chalked with chalk from Studio G.

 H{ippity} Hop...Fishy Philosophy

Isn't this stamp kit adorable!!!
I think it's one of my new favs!!! I just loved coloring in that fish..it's such a pretty stamp!!
So here's what I did-
I used my cricut to cut out the circle that I stamped the coral on and then used the remaining paper and foam squares to attach it over the circle to give it depth.
The fish and coral were both colored with watercolor pencils.
I used swiss dots cuttlebug folder to add some dry embossing.  The paper is from my stash and I thought it went perfect with these stamps.

The stamps are from the ippity stamp kit what matters most.  The ink is Black Noir Palette Hybrid available from ippity. Craft Challenge Card

This week the challenge at C.R.A.F.T. is to create a Mother's Day Card or a card with a floral theme.  Here is the card I made.

I used paper from my stash on this one.  The flower I handmade using some floral paper I had.  The sentiment is from the ippity stamp set Regal Greetings and the stamp behind the flower is from the ippity stamp set Love in Return, I stamped it onto kraft paper and then cut it out.  The scalloped borders were stamped with the Sweet Thoughts of Spring ippity stamp kit...I just love these scallops the set has 4 different ones, I use them all the time. You can view these sets here.  I used ink from ippity in Burnt Umber.  The ribbon and buttons are from my stash.
Thanks for looking!!

Paper Popsicles Theme Card

The theme at Paper Popsicles this week is home...you can make anything with a home theme.  I chose to make a shaped card with their free House Shaped Card Template.   Here's what I came up with-

I cut the card out on Orange card stock and then added the patterned paper.  This is 2 sided DP from K & Co. it's actually from their valentine pack.  I cut the little flowers from the paper added a rhinestone to eahc, and added it to some grass I cut out with my Cricut Easter cart.  I added a some lines with a dark green colored pencil to the grass to give it some dimension.  The stamps are all from the the ippity stamp kit Sweet Thoughts of Spring. I stamped the little chick on yellow cardstock and colored him in with orange and yellow colored pencils, I did a little blending to his tummy. The sentiment and cloud are stamped.  I added the edging around the roof this is a scalloped stamped it is stamped onto some pink paper that has a little shine to it..got it at Hobby Lobby..not sure who makes it:) I had a lot of fun with this shaped card! Thanks Paper Popsicles!!
Thanks for looking!!

Birthday Card

Here's a card I made for Lauras sketch 47 and the 2 Sketches 4 You blog- I just love playing along...they always have such great sketches.

For this card I used DP from My Minds Eye- Quite Contrary, the stamps are ippity- the flowers are from the stamp kit What Matters Most, Happy Birthday is from Lifes little moments I stamped it and cut it out..this was actually a square stamp with a big letter H also but I did not include that,  the circles and tag were cut with my cricut, the paper for the tag is coordinations, I sanded it for the teal to show through.  I also inked the edges of the circle with my Burnt Umber ink pad and gave it a little pattern. I stitched the edges of the card and the brown DP, and added a little zig zag stitch across the bottom. I finished off the inside with the bottom of the DP I thought it looked perfect for this card because it had the coordinating brown paper already on...it's a way to use the edge:)

Thanks for looking!!
P.S. I love comments:)

I used my cricut george cart to cut out the circles at 3 and 3 1/2".  The stamps are ippiy the sentiment is from Sweet Thoughts of Spring and the butterflies are from What Matters Most.  I cut the butterflies out and used pop dots to give it dimension.  I used paper from both K & Co. and My Minds Eye.  I used my sewing machine to stich around the edge of the card and the circle.  The green paper was cut at the top to give a little grass look. I colored the butterflies with memory marker and the blue is watercolored. Thanks for looking.

Spring Layout

Here's a layout I made today for a challenge at Paper Popsicles.  The challenge was to make a spring layout with the following recipe- ribbon, button, flower, birds, color pink, & a scalloped edge.  I really have only made a couple scrapbook pages but I think I like the way this one turned out. The pics are of one of my daughters when she was a baby I dressed all the girls up in their Easter outfits and we took these pics at home... she was so funny..still is.

I used {ippity} stamps on this layout- the birds of from the kit What Matters Most & the Spring sentiment is from Sweet Thoughts of Spring.  The paper is My Minds Eye {ippity} Winter 2010.  If you are looking for {ippity} stamps click HERE.
