Paper Popsicles Theme Card

The theme at Paper Popsicles this week is home...you can make anything with a home theme.  I chose to make a shaped card with their free House Shaped Card Template.   Here's what I came up with-

I cut the card out on Orange card stock and then added the patterned paper.  This is 2 sided DP from K & Co. it's actually from their valentine pack.  I cut the little flowers from the paper added a rhinestone to eahc, and added it to some grass I cut out with my Cricut Easter cart.  I added a some lines with a dark green colored pencil to the grass to give it some dimension.  The stamps are all from the the ippity stamp kit Sweet Thoughts of Spring. I stamped the little chick on yellow cardstock and colored him in with orange and yellow colored pencils, I did a little blending to his tummy. The sentiment and cloud are stamped.  I added the edging around the roof this is a scalloped stamped it is stamped onto some pink paper that has a little shine to it..got it at Hobby Lobby..not sure who makes it:) I had a lot of fun with this shaped card! I love this little Chick!!

Here is a my take on Laura's Sketch #46 at 2 Sketches 4 You. My layout is tweaked a little I used this adorable little oval Chick stamp to represent the oval in this sketch.. Hope you like it:)

I just love this little chick I stamped using my Sweet Thoughts of Spring {ippity} stamp set- you can view this set HERE. (all stamps on this card are from this pack).  I cut the doilies with my Cricut and then stamped the chick.  I colored him in with colored pencils.  I then stamped the flowers twice, colored them in, cut them out, and glued them to the doily.. I love the way they turned out. The paper is My Minds Eye and from the {ippity} Winter collection.  The sentiment is stamped. The scallops were also stamped, this is a border stamp, I cut it out, cut it in half and then layered the two.  The buttons are from my stash I thread them and stuck them on with sticky dots.  The ribbon is from Target.. the dollar bins.  Thanks for looking!!

Greetings Valentine!!

Here is a card I created based on Laura's Sketch #45 at the 2 Sketches 4 You blog-  I have entered it into 2 Challenges...Laura's Sketch #45 at 2 Sketches for You Challenge and Die Cuts R Us- Love theme

I know...another Valentine, but it's that time of the year:)  I have 3 daughters, so I had to make them each one.  I just love this paper with the robots it's from K& Co....again!!  I'm just having so much fun using this pack of valentine paper!  My 16 year old actually fell in love with these little robots, so I made this card for her.  I drew the Robot myself to make it match the patterned paper and then colored it in with colored pencils.  I then cut him out and added some red cardstock to make him stand out against the coordinating teal paper.  I used chalk around the edges of the teal and robot paper.  The hearts I cut out on my Cricut with the George cart and then Cuttlebugged them with swiss dots, I also chalked the edges of the hearts.  I attached them with foam squares to give some dimension.  I cut some red card stock and cut it with border scissors and layered it under the ribbon. Thank you for looking!!
