Paper Popsicles Love Theme

Here is a card I made for the Love theme for Paper Popsicles. The papers are all from a really cute K & Company valentine card pad I bought on sale at Michaels. The beige paper has silver foil hearts printed on it. I cut the flowers with my George cricut cart out of 5 different papers I cut them all in different sizes and layered them. I added a paper flower embellishment for the center and a rhinestone. The XOXO is stamped on white cardstock and I chalked the edges. The ribbon I also got at Michaels, I love the different colors on it. Thanks for looking!!

Cuttlebug Challenge Vintage Valentine #68

Here is a card I created for the Vintage Valentine #68 for the Cuttlebug Challenge. This is my spin on a Vintage Valentine. I had the red and green background papers and thought they fit for the vintage look. The doily was cut from the 2010 Easter Cart on my Cricut. I drew on the stitching look and chalked the edges in brown to give it an aged look. The flowers and vase were cut from the Easter cart also and both were layered. The heart is from the George cart. I had the heart already cut from a project I didn't end up using it in. I like to save all the cuts that I don't use. I added foam squares to the back of the vase to give it depth. The paper on the vase has silver foil hearts and is from a K & Company valentine pad. I cut the paper for the XOXO with border shaped scissors and drew on the lines and wrote the XOXO, then layered on top of 2 coordinating papers, pink and green. On the inside of the card I just added a little of the red paper and glued it onto the right side. Thanks for looking! I hope you like it!!

Card I made for 2 Sketches 4 U Challenge

Here is a card I made for a 2 Sketches 4 U Challenge. This is based off of Laura's Sketch 44. I have never done one off of a sketch before, actually I am just learning. There are some absolutely beautiful cards on their blog. You can view the sketch and cards at their blog- http://2sketches4u.blogspot.com/. The cake and squares were cut with my cricut machine and are from the Designers Calendar cartridge. The border was cut with the Easter 2010 Cart. Inside the card reads Birthday Blessings and was cut from the George cart.

Cuttlebug Challenge Pocket Card

This is a Pocket Card I made for this months Cuttlebug Challenge. The challenge was to make a mostly red pocket card. I chose to make a Valentines Day card. I used red cardstock for the card, the paper on the front of the card is red with a red foil hearts. I used my George cart to cut the heart in red card stock then I layered it with a silouette cut in black card stock. The flowers on the front of the card were cut with my Easter 2010 cart, they are so pretty. I cut two of them and then arranged them on the heart the edges are beneath the silouette. The butterfly was cut from Designers Calendar and I layered three of them in different sizes. Then I added some rhinestones.

The heart is actually the pocket which holds another heart that says Be Mine, this heart is from the Designers Calendar cart, I cut two the same size and cut a piece of black card stock between them, so you can read Be Mine on Both sides I also glued a little raffia between them so that the heart could be pulled out.

The inside is three layered rectangles from the George Cart and a Sticker that reads Forever. I hope you like it. Thanks for looking!!

Simple Valentines Day Card

This Valentines Day card is so easy to make, it only took a few cuts with my cricut. The doily on the front of the card was cut using my Easter 2010 cart, it's kind of hard to see but I chalked the outer edges of the doily. The heart is from the Designers Calendar cart and I added some pink pearls.

On the inside of the card the hearts were cut with the George cartridge. I added a ribbon and the words were stamped

Valentines Day Cards

Here is a Valentines Day card my 9 year old made for her teacher this year. We used a pre-scored light blue card, the paper is a light blue pattern with red polka dots... her teacher is male so we thought we'd go with a blue card. The large heart in the center was cut with the Designers Calendar Cricut cart and the two smaller hearts were cut from the George cart. We added a couple rhinestones for a little bling and a cute red ribbon with hearts.
