Easter Card- Kazans Sketch #46
Ever have one of those days where you are trying to make something...but you just can't seem to think of what you are going to do?? Well today was one of those days for me!! I really wanted to make a card for 2 Sketches 4 You but each time I tried it just wasn't working for me... but then I finally got over the hump and created something..whew finally:) Ok so here's what I made for the 2 Sketches 4 You Kazans sketch #46
The Egg and Happy Easter are from the Easter 2010 Cricut Cart. I cut the egg layered it and chalked the right edgeof the egg. I use my swiss dots cuttlebog folder on the blue rectangle. I added chipboard circles behind the egg and rectangle to pop it out a little. I also hand stitched around the papers and cardstock with a pink memory marker. Added a ribbon and the little pink papers to the egg. On the inside of the card I added so of the DP to finish it off and used another egg with the same cutout as a stencil and colored it in with marker. Thanks for looking!!
P.S. I love comments!!

Valentine Bouquets
Die Cuts R Us Love Challenge- Die Cuts R Us is having a challenge anything LOVE themed, so I entered this in. This year I decided to make my daughters gifts for Valentines Day...usually we just get them some candy and a stuffed animal, but they really have too much of both already:) So I decided to make them little Valentine Bouquets..hope I'm spelling that right..lol.
I got the cardstock, vellum, heart suckers, purple glitter hearts, and vases at Michaels. I cut the hearts with the George Cricut Cart in. The ribbon and charms were bought at Hobby Lobby..they were having a huge sale:) I used glue dots to attach the hearts to the little sticks and glued a back heart on to finish them off. I stuffed a little tissue paper in the vase to keep everything from sliding around.
Thanks for looking!!

Greetings Valentine!!
Here is a card I created based on Laura's Sketch #45 at the 2 Sketches 4 You blog- I have entered it into 2 Challenges...Laura's Sketch #45 at 2 Sketches for You Challenge and Die Cuts R Us- Love theme
I know...another Valentine, but it's that time of the year:) I have 3 daughters, so I had to make them each one. I just love this paper with the robots it's from K& Co....again!! I'm just having so much fun using this pack of valentine paper! My 16 year old actually fell in love with these little robots, so I made this card for her. I drew the Robot myself to make it match the patterned paper and then colored it in with colored pencils. I then cut him out and added some red cardstock to make him stand out against the coordinating teal paper. I used chalk around the edges of the teal and robot paper. The hearts I cut out on my Cricut with the George cart and then Cuttlebugged them with swiss dots, I also chalked the edges of the hearts. I attached them with foam squares to give some dimension. I cut some red card stock and cut it with border scissors and layered it under the ribbon. Thank you for looking!!

Frog themed Valentine- 3 challenges
I made this card today and entered it into three challenges-
Die Cuts R Us- Love Challenge
Paper Popsicles-Animal Theme
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge- Valentines or Love
I will be giving it to my eight year old for Valentines Day. The paper is from K and Co. I just love these little frogs... I layered the front of the card with the froggy paper, glued ribbon to the back to frame it and glued it to coordinating green paper. The sentiment came with the paper, I cut it out and layered it on some red cardstock. The heart was cut with my Cricut George cart at 2" for the Red and 1" for the pink then layered. I added a foam square to give it dimension. I drew on stitching around all the paper edges & around the hearts I also added some x's and o's to the heart..I added the ribbon and the bow, I think it finishes it off nicely. On the inside I added more of the green paper and another Heart and drew on a little lines to make the heart look like it's bouncing. Thanks for looking!!
Sorry the pics are a little fuzzy..I think my camera needs a new battery!!
P.S. I love comments:)

Valentines my daughter made!!
This year we decided to make our own Valentines. My eight year old daughter made her valentines in the shape of an owl. These little Valentines turned out so cute, she absolutely loved making these. Also to my surprise...Dad offered to help!! He doesn't do crafts, so I had to take a picture!! (I think he just wanted to play with my Cricut...lol)
Supplies:
Cricut
Goerge Cart
Easter Cart
Glue Stick
Tape
Card Stock
Heart Shaped Suckers
Here's what we did:
For the shape of the owl my daughter cut 4" Eggs from the Cricut Easter Cart. Then she folded the top of the egg shape to make the face and glued it down. We cut out a triangle to create the ears. She used the triangles and glued them on to make the beaks. For the eyes circle were cut at 1" with the George Cart, and then she drew in the little pupils. The feet were cut also with the George Cart we used the Shift Heart. I helped her cut the little slits in the bottom and we added heart lollipops for the Owls to purch on. Thanks for looking!!

Friendship Layout
Hello!! Here is a Scrapbook page I made for Paper Popsicles Moosetrack Monday Challenge. The challenge was to make a page with the theme "Friendship" from their layout sketch. I decided to use pictures of my daughter and her best friend. Sorry the pictures don't look great, my camera obviously does not like taking pictures of Black and White photos. They look much better in person:) Details on how I made this are below pictures-
I used paper from K and Company for this layout. Absolutely love the polka dots!! Friends was cut at 2" using the shadow feature with the George Cricut Cart. The flower was also made with the George cart and the Blue and Red were cut at 1 1/2" the pink at 1". The wording on the brown tag is a sticker that I had and it reads: Genuine: not fake or counterfeit, not pretended, sincerely felt or expressed..I thought that was a perfect way to describe their frienship. I layered it on some beige and dark brown paper, added some rhinestones, and a little ribbon. I also used swiss dots to emboss the word Friendship, lots of dots on this layout.
Thank you for looking, please leave a comment and I would love some followers:)

2 Sketches 4 You Challenge

Here is a card I made based on Kazan's sketch 45 at 2 Sketches 4 You. I have never made a circular card before, so it was quite interesting to figure out. I based this card off of a paper I had from K and Co. My daughter loved this paper with the little lions printed on it. This will be her Valentine:) I used my Cricut George Cart to cut the shapes for the lions head and pieced it together, I used foam squares to give it dimension. I used twigs for his whiskers and added rhinestones to his eyes, and added a little pink chalk for his cheeks. For his mane and the background I used my Easter 2010 cart. I added a little dangling heart, which now kind of looks like the end of his tail.
The wording inside is also from K and Co, I cut it off a pre-printed card that came with the paper pack. Thanks for looking!!
